.DISCUSSION...
KEY MESSAGE 1: Well above normal temperatures and rain-free
conditions expected to prevail across southeast Georgia and
southeast South Carolina through next week.
A very summer-like pattern is expected to setup across the
region and prevail through the next 7 days. There is high
confidence in prominent ridging aloft and subtropical high
pressure at the surface, which will yield a dry forecast each
day with increasingly warm temperatures. Look for highs into the
low to mid 80s through Monday, then mid to upper 80s and even
low 90s starting from Tuesday onward. Such values would be on
the order of 10 degrees (or more) above normal. As of now there
does not appear to be a high probability of reaching daily
record highs, but certainly a notable warm stretch for mid
April. Also, certainly not an ideal scenario of warm and dry in
the presence of the ongoing Extreme Drought (D3) impacting much
of the area on the US Drought Monitor.

.AVIATION /00Z SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/...
VFR conditions expected at KCHS, KJZI, and KSAV through 0z
Monday. Guidance does show a period of ground fog around
daybreak Sunday morning at KSAV, highlighted with a TEMPO from
9-12Z. South winds should develop by late Sunday morning with
the passage of a sea breeze.
Extended Aviation Outlook: VFR.
&&
.MARINE...
Sunday through Thursday: Overall, quiet marine conditions are
expected across the local waters. Winds will be driven by
subtropical high pressure to the east, favoring south to
southwest flow with speeds peaking in the 10-15 knot range
(mostly in the afternoon and evening). Seas are expected to be
within the 2-4 ft range.
